A Summary of the Training Series on Stress in Children

In the past year, we were fortunate to have three training courses on the issue of stress in children, and all three were a huge success!

The first training course took place last November in Magog. Among the many attendees were 14 parents and 28 professionals, for a total of 42 participants!
The second training course was given in Stanstead last April. It was aimed at the English-speaking population in our territory. Among the 12 participants were 7 professionals and 5 parents. Also, daycare services were available during the training, and 8 children attended.

The purpose of the first two training courses was to learn more about the effects of stress on children and to discover avenues for action to remedy the situation.

The third training course allowed early childhood professionals to delve deeper into the subject. The training took place last May, and gave educators from CPEs and family-run daycares a deeper understanding of the issue.
Stress in children is a topical issue that professionals in the field take very seriously.
