New Tools Available

The committees worked hard to develop and provide access to tools that are helpful in meeting the needs of our families. Some examples include:
Language Development in Toddlers
- Leaflets containing language tips for children ages 0 to 5 are available directly at Memphré en Mouvement’s office. These small leaflets are designed to inform parents about language development stages and to encourage them to engage in certain activities with their children to promote their development. Posters are also at your disposal to raise awareness among parents and initiate discussions. These tools are available in English and French. Please contact the coordinating team to receive copies.
- Fun colouring placemats that feature helpful language tips.
- Printable Biblio-Jeux sheets that promote language development via exercises that focus on comprehension, phonology, breathing, morphosyntax, vocabulary and muscle building. All were verified by a speech therapist and include printable or easy to access material for supporting the activities.
Transition to Kindergarten
- Brochures designed to inform parents about the different stages that occur in the year leading up to the start of school. Parents will gain a better understanding of what’s available to facilitate this transition and be able to access resources, if needed. Child care establishments can order their copy directly from Memphré en Mouvement’s coordinating team.
